Poem - You Are Here For A Reason

You Are Here For A Reason   Can't remember the first few days But as far back as we can We were fine in our ways We felt we were right Though we knew we were wrong Each day that passed by Singing the same old song Clinging to happiness For the time being Clouded in our vision Not clearly seeing Our life wasn't so good Then later after years There's a really big difference Out comes sadness and fears We feel nothing left No reason for existence We ask why we're are here But in our heart is resistance Not relying on God To fill that gap inside Where something is missing The answer is to reside In God the Father Believe that Jesus died He loves us more than people can Creatures can't fill that empty space God making you was part of His plan    You are here for a reason!!!

My Recent Reads

Hey guys! For the many of you who don't know, I love reading. I pride myself on having read Tristan Strong Punches A Hole In the Sky in less than two days and one of my favorite books is Out of My Heart (the sequel to Out of My Mind) by Sharon M. Draper. Reading is one of my number one hobbies, which is why I'm going to share with you a list of books I got from the library that I recently read. 1. I Am Still Alive by Kate Alice Marshall       This was like the girl version of Hatchet. If you've read it, you know what I mean. Overall, I liked this book, but it was disappointing in the end. I won't spoil it for anyone who wants to read it. All I'll say is that the protagonist, Jess, had a goal in mind, but made an ultimately stupid choice for a kid stranded on an island. 2. Lost Boys by Darcey Rosenblatt      Like the first one, this book became wearisome and mundane during certain parts, and the ending was good, but also a bit disa...

Resilience | How To Build Resilience (Tips on Candace Cameron Bure Podcast)

The Three P's Perspective | Pivot | Purpose  (Tips from Candace Cameron Bure Podcast S4) 1. Healthy perspective      Perspective is an honest acceptance of reality while still maintaining hope. It is NOT  delusion. 2. Healthy Ability to Pivot      Realizing what you are doing isn't working, looking for solutions, and finding a way.  3. Purpose      Look to GOD to find purpose in the pain. Having faith that GOD can turn the mess into something beautiful. And here I'll add a fourth P 4. Peace      A good way to build resilience is to look to GOD to give you His peace in the pain. Sometimes, for me, that means a smile or laugh in the darkest moments, knowing that I'm living with the end in mind. I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me. Philppians 4:13 I lift up my eyes to the mountains - where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot ...

Don't step out on your own

Image
Stepping out on your own should be scary.      Everyone likes to go with the flow. Some people, like me, dream of doing things differently. We see these movies and videos everywhere about people who made a difference, a change in the world, by turning a different way from the rest of the world. What everyone else said was right might have been wrong. Or maybe people were making choices, but somebody realized there's a better way and acted on it. Whatever the reason, whether anyone stood by them or not, these people did what they thought was right. They went a new way.      Now being alone is scary. It's much easier to follow a path someone else has travelled than to pave your own. Have you ever wanted to step onto an unknown path, but instead planted your foot in dense jungle, so you immediately retreat back to the main road? Yeah! That unknown path you were looking for, it was created by somebody else. There's nothing unknown about it. And all the c...

I cannot respond to comments

Hey guys! Just a heads up on the Q&A page specifically, as well as posts. I am having trouble responding to comments. While I am working out this problem, know that if you comment, I will see it. Until this is fixed, I will respond to comments in my posts and on our YouTube channel, Radikal Kids.       I hope I can figure all this out soon. Check back on Friday for a new post.

Any Suggestions? (Christian Fiction)

Hey guys! Lucee here. I'm on the search for christian fiction. As I've talked about before, I love reading. Lately I've been slacking when it comes to making time for books, but I want to get back into the flow of reading at least five books every week.. So far I'm starting off slow, but that's okay.      My question for you guys is, do you know of any christian fiction that isn't also a romance? Every time I manage to find a chrsitian author, their books are all about two people in love, breaking up, or looking for the one. (Not GOD the one.)      The next time I post it will be a list of recommended and not recommended christian books.  (Of course, just my opinion. Everyone has their own and must discern for themselves what a good book is.)  If you could help me out by adding in the comments your favorite, I'd appreciate that!      Have a blessed week! 😉😎
