Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to GOD.
Hey! So to start off this post I want to ask a question. My question is, what special things has GOD done in your life? Did it get you excited?
There are many things that have happened others might consider small or no big deal, but I see it as a miracle or GOD reminding me that HE is with me. Like all the times I've wondered how I would make it through, even with something like having to eat my food or clean up my toys when I was younger. And when I think on those events now, I think wow, how did I get through that situation? The answer I land on is JESUS. Even when I was little and exaggerating, GOD got me through.
There was one time when I was doing homework. I was crying and everything because I didn't understand and if I didn't finish my work then I couldn't go on to other things. I'm not totally sure, but I think whatever work I was doing was timed. I was not a christian then, but I prayed and asked GOD to help me.
Do you know, instantly I knew the answer. And I also knew that it was only the work of GOD.
A lot of times I won't share these stories with other people, or I leave out the part about GOD, but I think it is important to tell the stories when GOD puts in on your heart.
And as I write this I am thinking of so many things to add. But here are two things I'll leave you with:
1. Pray if you are stuck. Don't give up before you pray. (And it's okay to take breaks, but maybe pray before you put down whatever you are doing. I have to work on this)
and
2. Pray all the time. Talk to GOD whether you believe in him or not.
Thanks for reading and hanging out!
Here are some bible verses if you want to read them.
Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting GOD, the CREATOR of the ends of the earth. HE will not grow tired and weary, and HIS understanding no one can fathom. HE gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD, HE will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
1 Thessalonians 5:17
pray continually
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to GOD.
